Need some opinions.

So far, Ive thoroughly read ALOT of these articles, and understand these methods. I can see how they can work.

My first field run was terrible. There was this HB9 at a clothing shop working the dressing rooms. I DLVed myself right away, didn't pull the trigger on most of the dialogue I came up with. It was basically all in my head, whatever.

Second run was better. I didn't even hit on any chick. But I entered this bar I usually frequent with a new Alpha Male attitude. Very talkative, talked to everyone, took up alot of space at the bar. Everyone's body language was towards me. Was just a nice spirit booster.

Third run I ran into an AMOG while I was dancing with her. I kind of backed off, but then we left right away. I am not field experienced enough to handle an AMOG yet, I even thought it when I saw him. Afterwards I realized I should have reinforced my presence and been like, "Oh, is this your boyfriend?" My brother knows her so it turns out it wasn't her bf.

Well, I've been trying to come up with some openers, it's very difficult for some reason let me know what you guys think:

1. "Which do you think is a better name for a band? Iron Gland - or - Luck of the Draw?"- "yada yada" - "My friends over there want to name our band Iron Gland, I think it's too Sabbath or Iron Maiden...." This is actually true I am in a band and we are trying to name it but I think it might sound a bit too braggadocious.

2. "Do you girls think Yellow is a good color for a car? It's usually a pretty ugly and loud color but it sometimes works with cars." Another one that is true to me. I am planning on painting my car when I save up. I plan to just paint it black though.

3. "I couldn't help but notice how incredibly attractive you are." She will probably smile politely or roll her eyes. "It's ok, you don't have to be uncomfortable, it's not that much of a compliment." Now she would look puzzled. "I grow bored with good looks in about 15 minutes, I like it when a girl can hold an intelligent conversation, actually make me laugh, you know have a personality." Maybe this one would only be good if she can't immediately walk away with the first line, like if she is your waitress.

The "Oh, is this your boyfriend," thing would've worked magically. Her response would've shown you how into you she is. Could turn into a qualifier.

Like, say this happened,

rebel- Oh, is this your boyfriend?
HB- Nonono! He's totally just a friend!

Qualifier. You're indirectly lowering AMOG's value, while also getting a good feel for whether or not she WANTS you to know she's single.

Meanwhile, she could also give you an offhand "No," which doesn't really mean anything. If she starts focusing on him, just tell her you'll leave them alone to chat or whatever. If you've made a good enough impression, she'll come back.

With the openers, yeah that could work. Personally, I don't like scripted openers, purely because you can shape your opener to the environment or whatever. Say, like "I need to get your opinion... I'm trying to convince my buddy that the lady in that painting could be his mom. What do you think?"

I would love to get some environmental openers going. I can just NEVER come up with ANY.

Are your openers usually lies you come up with that tend to be funny/interesting? Let's say for example you weren't with any friend, you would have said that opener and just waved your hand in a general direction where you came from?

Ehhh it's too iffty to lie. Sometimes, girls will give you honest answers and actually try to help you out. If they somehow found out that you weren't telling the truth, it'll destroy all the value you've put into their opinion. They'll distrust you, or you'll have to start from scratch.

It's always a good idea to pick up women with a buddy. Even if it's a chick, having someone with you can offer major moral support. And, if necessary, you can use them in your openers.

But say you're by yourself at the moment. You can still use environmental openers.

Remember when opening that you need your time constraint. Say "I can't stay long... blablabla, BUT..." then throw in your env opener.

My favorite is just people watching. Comparing people to celebrities or something like that. Women LOVE to analyze and compare each other, so this is perfect.

Tarzan: I was just passing by-- I can't stay long-- but you see that lady over there?
HB: Yeah?
Tarzan: Does she not remind you of the dorky chick from the Goonies!?
HB: Yes! She totally does! ...or... No! I was thinking more of Velma from Scooby Doo! Tee Hee!

You can go on to talk about fashion, the actress that played whoever or the singer that sang whatever.

These are more like 'fill in the blank' openers. Just utilize your environment. Everybody looks like somebody.
