I was at a bar the other night. I was running through a string of openers and imagining how a conversation would go with these two chicks I saw at the bar. I was on the other side of the bar playing poker and was gonna go after I lost. Well I didn't lose so I never went up to them but I came to a quandary when I was thinking about the M3 method.

The targets were an HB7 and this HB9, hooters girl type, that I talked to a couple times a long time ago.

I was gonna lean in.
FTC.
Opinion opener.
Cold Read.
Second opinion opener with a Root.
During this some body rocking and negs.
Tell the HB9 she looked familiar and fished around Elliciting Values.

Now, if your False Time Constraint was actually supposed to be true, wouldn't you naturally be leaving right about now? Let's say you previously said, "I can only stay a minute I gotta get back to my friends..." Wouldn't at some point she start wondering, "why is this guy not going back to his friends?" Are we expected to # close at this point? Don't know if a girl would give her # after about 4 minutes of convo at this point. or maybe are you to go back to your friends and come back later?

I also thought. I should have used the restroom in the middle of my game. Sure they'll fold a couple of my hands but I would have went and talked to them. THEN I actually would have a time constraint. They are folding my hands so after a few minutes I would have had to leave.

First off, do not lean in. Lean back, you want them to lean into you. Second, don't worry about whether they think ur FTC is real or not. Your job is to captivate them enough that the FTC is secondary in their minds now to you.

That's a pretty rigid structure dude... You've got to be a little bit more flexible than that.

Brock's right. You only use the FTC to make the HB's more comfortable. And don't lean in. Look over your shoulder while you're walking by. Make yourself look flaky via body language.

And if you think you've been there too long, and they're not throwing you any IOIs or the convo's lagging, tell them you've gotta get back to whatever you were doing before.

Remember you can come back too... If they seem interested at all, you probably should.

Oh, and it's waaay easier opening and closing a two set if you have a wing.

Yeah. I agree flexibility and being able to think on the spot is something that I eventually want to own. Right now, starting off, I need a structure like this before I even go talk to them or I will freeze or run out of things to say.

Good advice, just basically worry about them getting interested in you and just feel out the time thing naturally.

And my wing is a CBing s.o.b. Last night we met a few people at a bar and this HB7 was IOIing me like crazy. After about 10 minutes we moved to a table, and he ended up talking to her for the remainder. When he went to # close at the end he didn't get it (Which was pretty sweet haha). No real big deal, she works at a bar we go to often so I will probably see her again and he apologized afterwards.
