in college need help

so i've been studying pick up for a year now and my club and party game is good but, i'm in college and spend most of my time in the class and hanging out with friends in a cafe on campus. when we do go to parties i try to make the most of them but, i need some help, how do approach girls in class and at the cafe? My staple openers aren't working.

Dude, I've only been studying this stuff for a few months, but I can tell you right from the start that college girls are the hardest chicks to open. You've just got to assume they all have ADD, because even the majority of HB8-'s think they're the business.

That doesn't mean they're impenetrable though. Everyone has their niche in PU. I guess you're good at the club stuff. I, myself, suck at club stuff. I do better with day game.

The best way to open at a party is to have a buddy introduce you to the set. More importantly, don't approach a single girl. The MM condemns this too... but it's even more important with house parties and things like that.

And in class, it's pretty simple. The 3's rule applies... to an extent. Just sit next to her. But early on in the semester. Girls don't expect to get hit on in class, so they've got more barriers up. If you randomly sit next to the target mid-term, she'll wonder wtf you're doing.

Tarzan I must disagree- opening college girls is easy. Literally all you gotta do is just go over and say "hey i know you.... you're in my class blah blah blah" girl opened that or even just going straight over and saying whats up.
Like they're not going to cease up as soon as you open your mouth ang think "omg he's trying to pick me up", no one thinks like that and i am yet to get a negative response from some one by doing this!

And even if you do get caught out its not like a mob of villagers will form with torches and pitchforks screaming "BURN HIM! HE TRIED TO PICK ME UP!"

i am goin to parties this weekend with friends. My plan is, have my friend introduce me, it's a small party at his hometown, neg my target, isolate and close. Sound good?

It all depends on the quality of chicks you're going for, buddy. The majority of HB's worth opening are overconfident. Groups of chicks in college are pretty tight, so an HB7 could easily convince herself that she can do as well as an HB9 friend of hers.

Then again, if you're going after HB5-'s, yeah, I could see them being pretty receptive to openers.

That being said, take it all in Magic. Different things work for different people. But remember, good wings are NEVER a bad choice.
